Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Tuesday, 01-20-09 and Thursday, 01-22-09. If you have any information pertaining to any of these cases or other criminal or suspicious activity, please contact the UT Police Department at 512-471-4441. CHEMICAL PETROLUM ENGINEERING, 200 East Dean Keeton Theft: A blue Roadmaster mountain bicycle was stolen from the bike racks located on the south side of the building after being secured with a U-shaped lock. Loss value: $50.00. Occurred between: 1-18-09 and 1-21-09. WALTER WEBB HALL, 2500 Guadalupe Criminal Trespass / Criminal Trespass Warning: A UT police officer observed four subjects sitting on the east side of the building asking pedestrians for hand outs as they walked by. During the investigation, the officers soon discovered one of the subjects had been issued a prior criminal trespass warning just days before. The subject was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass and was transported to Central Booking. As for the remaining three, they were all issued written Criminal Trespass Warnings and were escorted from the area. Occurred on: 1-21-09, at 7:40 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 21 alarm calls, 3 unsecured door reports, 1 collision, 2 suspicious activity reports, and 3 public assist between 01-20-09 and 01-22-09.
