Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Tuesday, 04-14-09 and Wednesday, 04-15-09. O'HENRY HALL, 601 Colorado Criminal Trespass Warning: A UT staff member discovered a non-UT subject completing a bodily function on the porch located on the south side of the building. During the investigation, the officers detected a moderate odor of alcohol on the subject's breath. The subject explained that he had missed the bus and needed to use the restroom. The subject was issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning and was escorted from the area. Occurred on: 4-15-09, at 3:06 AM. 1600 BLOCK MANOR ROAD Theft: A Hitachi miter saw was reported stolen after being left unattended under a construction trailer. Loss value: $250.00. Occurred on: 4-14-09, between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. 2200 BLOCK SAN JACINTO BLVD. Assist Outside Agency: A UT police officer observed a Toyota commit a traffic violation, Failed to Signal. During the traffic investigation, the officer soon learned the non-UT driver had two outstanding outside agency arrest warrants. The subject was taken into custody for the warrants and was transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 4-14-09, at 1:45 AM. 2500 BLOCK SPEEDWAY Criminal Mischief: A UT staff member discovered words and drawings, written in chalk, along the sidewalk. Est. Loss: $50.00. Discovered on: 4-15-09, at 2:32 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 18 alarm calls, 2 unsecured door reports, 2 public assist requests, and 1 suspicious activity report between 04-14-09 and 04-15-09.
