Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between and Monday, 02/01/10 and Tuesday, 02/02/10. 200 BLOCK GUADALUPE Disorderly Conduct-Fighting: A UT police officer observed two subjects engaged in an altercation. The victim was knocked to the ground while the suspect continued to strike the victim with a closed fist and the bottom of his shoe. When the suspect and several witnesses saw the police approaching, they all ran from the area. The suspect was detained a short distance away and taken into custody and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 02-01-10, at 2:50 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 19 alarm calls, 1 fire alarm activation, 1 “Police Help†callbox report, 1 suspicious odor report, and 5 unsecured door reports between 02/01/10 and 02/02/10.
