Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between and Thursday, 02/04/10 and Friday, 02/05/10. 500 EAST 25th STREET Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A UT student reported the theft of her backpack, Apple mini-notebook, and Blackberry cellular telephone from inside her vehicle. During the investigation, the officer learned the subject had parked her vehicle in order to run inside the building. The victim had used her remote control to secure her vehicle. When the subject returned she discovered her property missing. The subject informed the officer there had been a suspicious subject standing near the ATM when she arrived however the subject was not longer there. The unknown subject was described as: White male, 20 years of age, short dark hair, and was last seen wearing a dark jacket. Loss value: $450.00. Occurred on: 2-04-10, between 8:59 AM and 9:03 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 14 alarm calls, 1 suspicious activity report, 1 suspicious person report, and 2 unsecured door reports between 02/04/10 and 02/05/10.
