Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department patrol officers between Monday, 5/24/10 and Tuesday, 5/25/10. *****ADMINISTRATIVE MESSAGE ****** Are you a Fan of the University of Texas Police Department? Come join us on Face Book at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/utaustinpolice BRAZOS PARKING GARAGE, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd. Graffiti: A stencil and black spray paint was used on the interior wall located on the 3rd floor. Damage loss: $75.00. Discovered on: 5-24-10, at 9:46 AM. ENGINEERING SCIENCE BUILDING, 2501 Speedway Criminal Trespass Warning: A UT Police Officer observed a non-UT subject approach the secured north exterior door and begin to pull on it. The subject was stopped and the officer learned the subject was not a current student or staff member. The subject claimed he needed to use the bathroom. The officer issued the subject a written Criminal Trespass Warning and escorted him from the area. Occurred on: 5-25-10, at 1:52 AM. SAN ANTONIO PARKING GARAGE, 2420 San Antonio Street Graffiti: Officers found drawings and several words written in black and red aerosol paint in the stairwell between the 5th and 6th level. Damage loss: Unknown at this time. Discovered on: 5-24-10, at 9:45 AM. 2400 BLOCK SAN JACINTO BLVD. Speeding / Assist Outside Agency: A UT Police Officer observed a blue Ford sedan going over twice the posted speed limit. During the traffic investigation, the officer learned the UT student driver had an outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrant for speeding. The subject was taken into custody for the outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrant and was transported to Central booking. Occurred on: 5-24-10, at 8:00 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 15 Alarm Calls, 1 Malfunctioning Light, and 2 Unsecured Door Reports between 05/24/10 and 05/25/10.
