MOORE HALL, 2515 Speedway Theft: A red and silver Schwinn mountain bicycle was stolen from the bike racks located on the west side of the building after being secured with a chain lock. During the investigation, the victim stated he had seen a subject riding away from the bike rack on a bicycle that was similar to his. The unknown subject was described as: White male (older), navy blue t-shirt, ball cap and carrying a bright yellow draw string back pack. Loss value: $75.00. Occurred on: 6-08-10, between 7:50 AM and 1:15 PM. 2200 BLOCK INNER CAMPUS DRIVE Theft: The front tire of a secured Trek mountain bicycle was stolen. Loss value: $35.00. Occurred on: 6-08-10, between 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Crime Prevention Tip of the Day: Yesterday was the start of this year's Freshman Orientation sessions. Between now and the end of July roughly 90% of the incoming freshman class will be on campus registering for classes and beginning this new phase in their lives.
