Crime Prevention Tip: Five cars were broken into yesterday. That number did not set any record, but five individuals had some very wet interiors. There were some similarities between the vehicles, property or perceived property was left in plain view, and could be seen from the exterior of the vehicle. Thieves like to window shop and when they see a “good deal” or a perceived “good deal”, they will break into your car. To keep the thieves at bay, hide all of your property. Keep the interior of your vehicle clean. If the thief cannot see your property, they will move along to another vehicle were the owner was not as cautious.
