Come join us on Face Book at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/utaustinpolice 2600 BLOCK SPEEDWAY Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor / Possession of a Fictitious DL: A grey BMW was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. During the traffic investigation, the officer detected a moderate odor of alcohol on the driver's breath. The driver, a UT student attempted to conceal his wallet as he tried to remove his correct driver's license that had been placed behind his fake ID. The officer saw the second ID and confiscated it. The officer discovered the subject was under the legal age of 21. The student was issued a citation for Driving Under the influence of Alcohol by a Minor. Occurred on: 6-24-10, at 3:00 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 11 alarm calls, 1 Call Box Alarm, 1 EMS call, 2 Malfunctioning Light reports, and 3 unsecured door reports between 06/23/10 and 06/24/10.
