Items with a serial number such as laptops, MP3 players, cell phones, electronics, and bikes are eligible. Registering your property is very helpful in theft investigations and in returning lost property to its rightful owner. Without identifying information, recovering stolen property is virtually impossible. Come join us on Face Book at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/utaustinpolice TOWNES HALL, 727 East Dean Keeton Theft: A UT staff member reported a set of keys were taken from inside her purse that had been left inside a secure area. During the investigation, the officer learned the area was not as secure as the reporting peson had believed. Loss value: Unknown at this time. Occurred: 7-19-10, at 5:30 PM and 7-20-10, at 1:30 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 21 Alarm Calls, 1 Call Box alarm, 3 Suspicious Activity reports, 2 Light Malfunction Report, and 3 Unsecured Door Reports between 07/19/10 and 07/20/10.
