Come join us on Face Book at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/utaustinpolice TOWNES HALL, 727 East Dean Keeton Theft: A pink colored wallet containing about $40.00 oin cash, various credit cards and personal identification was stolen from inside an office. During the investigation, the officer learned the victim had seen a suspicious person prior to her property being stolen. The victim stated she had seen an unknown subject wandering through the office suite. The subject was described as: Black male, 30-40 years of age and 6’-1”. No further description was given. Loss value: $40.00. Occurred on: 7-29-10, 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM. 500 BLOCK WEST MARTIN LUTHER KING BLVD. Evading Arrest / Assist Outside Agency: A UT Police Officer discovered two non-UT subjects arguing and fighting inside a vehicle. As the officer approached the vehicle, a non-UT passenger got out and began walking toward the officer in an aggressive manner, removing his shirt. The unknown driver decided her best option was to leave the area, and as the officer was telling her to turn off the car she drove away. During the investigation, the officer learned the passenger had an outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrant from another county. The subject was taken into custody and was transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 7-29-10, at 2:30 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 13 Alarm Calls, 2 Suspicious Activity Report, and 3Unsecured Door Reports between 07/29/10 and 07/30/10.
