Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Tuesday, 11/16/10 and Wednesday, 11/18/10. ***** Administrative Message ***** The Austin Police Department released the following information to the University of Texas Police Department. Two robberies occurred in West Campus over the weekend (11-14-10) with the same MO and suspect description. In both cases, the victim was walking down the street when a white or crème colored sedan pulled up alongside of them. The suspects, described as three Black males, exited the vehicle and robbed the victims at gunpoint. You can now follow us on Twitter @UTAustinPolice ALMETRIS DUREN HALL, 2624 Whitis Ave Graffiti: A UT staff member discovered words and letters had been written in black ink on a third floor door tag. Loss value: Unknown at this time. Discovered on: 11-16-10, at 3:31 PM. CREEKSIDE RESIDENCE HALL, 2501 San Jacinto Blvd. Theft: A blue and silver Schwinn mountain bicycle was stolen from the bike racks located on the west side of the building after securing the front tire to the bike rack with a U-shaped lock. Loss value: $100.00. Occurred between: 10-10-10, and 11-16-10. JESTER WEST DORMITORY, 201 East 21st Street Theft: A red Trek mountain bicycle was stolen from the bike racks after being secured with a self-locking cable lock. Loss value: $200.00. Occurred between: 10-31-01 and 11-05-10. PARKING LOT 110, 2200 Block Comal Suspicious Person: A UT staff member reported an unknown subject was stopping students and staff members and began asking them for money. The officers searched the area and were unable to locate the subject. The unknown subject was described as a Black male last seen wearing a camo shirt. Occurred on: 11-16-10, at 5:45 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 12 Alarm Calls, 1 Medical Emergency Assist, 3 Suspicious Activity Reports, 3 Malfunctioning Light Reports, and 2 Unsecured Door Reports between 11/16/10 and 11/17/10.
