Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Tuesday, 12-21-10 and Wednesday, 12-22-10. COMMUNICATIONS BUILDING A, 2504-A Whitis Ave Criminal Trespass / Obscene Display: A UT staff member reported a non-UT subject was sitting in the 3rd floor computer lab area openly viewing pornographic material. The responding officers located the subject inside the auditorium watching a pornographic video on the large screen. The subject was taken into custody for Obscene Display. During the investigation, the officers soon learned the subject had been issued a written Criminal Trespass warning for the same area two weeks prior for the same type of behavior. The subject was transported to Central Booking. In addition to the law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued another Criminal Trespass Warning. Occurred on: 12-21-10, at 11:13 PM. MCCOMBS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, 100 East 21st Street Graffiti: A UT Police Officer discovered unreadable words written in gold paint inside a 5th floor stairwell. Estimated loss: $50.00. Discovered on: 12-22-10, at 12:54 AM. UNIVERSITY TEACHING CENTER, 105 West 21st Street Graffiti: A UT Police Officer discovered words written in red spray paint inside the northeast stairwell. Estimated loss: $50.00. Discovered on: 12-22-10, at 2:12 AM. 2100 BLOCK GUADALUPE Assist Outside Agency: A UT Police Officer observed two non-UT subjects involved in disturbance. One subject was attempting to walk, but was being detained by the other. The officers learned the subjects had been involved in a relationship which had ended some time ago. During the investigation, the officer learned one of the subjects had several outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrants. The subject was taken into custody and was transported to Central Booking. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 11 Alarm Calls, 1 Fire Alarm call, 1 Suspicious Activity Report, 1 Call Box Activation, 2 Light Malfunction, and 3 Unsecured Door reports between 12/21/10 and 12/22/10.
