Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Monday, 01/03/11 and Tuesday, 01/04/11. JESTER WEST DORMITORY, 201 East 21st Street Theft: A silver Trek mountain bicycle was stolen from the bike racks located on the west side of the building after being secured with a self locking cable lock. Loss value: $200.00. Occurred between: 12-15-10 and 01-03-11. PARKING LOT 80, 1900 Red River Criminal Trespass Warning: A UT Police Officer observed a non-UT subject stopping pedestrians and asking them for cigarettes. During the investigation, the subject informed the officer he was heading to a local area hospital and was asking for a cigarette before he went in. The subject was issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning and was escorted from the area. Occurred on: 1-02-11, at 4:30 PM. 2300 BLOCK ROBERT DEDMAN DRIVE Assist Outside Agency / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Criminal Trespass Warning: A UT Police Officer observed two non-UT subjects doing tricks and stunts on BMX style bicycles in an area that was prohibited. During the investigation, the officers soon discovered one subject had three outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrants for Theft and Improper Disposal of Human Waste. The subject was taken into custody. The officers discovered the subject was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a small glass pipe that contained burned marijuana residue. The subject was transported to Central Booking. In addition to the law enforcement action taken, both subjects were issued written Criminal Trespass Warnings. Occurred on: 1-03-11, at 5:00 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 12 Alarm Calls, 4 Light Malfunctions, and 3 Unsecured Door reports between 01/03/11 and 01/04/11.
