Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Thursday, 01/13/11 and Friday, 01/14/11. PARKING LOT 115, 1600 East 20th Street Graffiti: Words and a cartoon character were discovered spray painted in black paint on a fence located on the north side of the parking lot. Estimated Repair: $50.00. Discovered on: 1-13-11, at 3:58 PM. RED and CHARLINE MCCOMBS FIELD, 2001 Comal Theft: A UT Police Officer discovered a copper letter “M” and “E” was missing from the marquee. Loss value: $100.00. Discovered on: 1-13-11, at 3:59 PM. SAN ANTONIO PARKING GARAGE, 2420 San Antonio Indecent Exposure: Two UT students reported an unknown male ran up behind them and dropped his pants to the ground. The students stated the subject was standing there with his pants on the ground exposing himself to them. As they ran away, the subject yelled, “Honey don’t run” as he lunged at them. The unknown subject was described as: White male, early 20’s, 5’-6”, average build and blonde hair. The subject was last seen wearing a tan jacket, green pants and a black beanie. Occurred on: 1-14-10, at 12:50 PM. 2200 BLOCK ROBERT DEDMAN Assist Outside Agency / Failure to ID / Possession of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle: A UT Police Officer observed a red Dodge sedan traveling without its headlamps turned on. During the traffic investigation, the officer observed an open bottle of beer sitting in the front console. The officer soon discovered, based upon the name and date of birth given, the subject had two outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrants for Failure to Identify and another traffic offense. When informed he was under arrest, the subject began insisting the officers had run the wrong name through the system, however all of the other information matched. The subject was taken into custody and was transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 01-13-11, at 11:13 PM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 15 Alarm Calls, 1 Fire Alarm, 1 Call Box Activation, 2 Suspicious Package, 2 Suspicious Activity Reports, and 2 Unsecured Door reports between 01/13/11 and 01/14/11.
