Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Friday, 05/27/11 and Tuesday, 5/31/11. GATEWAY APARTMENTS, 1618 West 6th Street Criminal Mischief: A UT student discovered the rear passenger window of a Toyota broken out. The officers learned no personal property had been taken from the vehicle. The officers observed a GPS device still sitting on the dash. Estimated repair: $250.00. Discovered on: 5-27-11, at 6:56 PM. INTRAMURAL FIELDS, 4901 Guadalupe Arson: UT Police Officers and the Austin Fire Department responded to a small brush fire near the creek. During the investigation, the officers learned several non-UT subjects had been seen in the area and had been asked to leave prior to the discovery of the fire. Loss value: Unknown at this time. Occurred on: 5-30-11, at 5:55 PM. 300 BLOCK WEST 24th STREET Graffiti: A UT Police Officer discovered a Pepper had been stenciled onto a street sign in brown paint. Estimated repair: $50.00. Discovered on: 5-30-11, at 7:40 AM. 2400 BLOCK SAN JACINTO BLVD. Assist Outside Agency: A UT Police Officer observed a black Nissan truck travelling through campus without displaying a front license plate. During the traffic investigation, the officers soon learned the subject had an outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrant with a $10,000.00 bond. The subject was taken into custody for the Outside Agency arrest warrant and was transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 5-29-11, at 2:23 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 74 Alarm Calls, 1 Callbox Alarm, 4 Suspicious Activity Reports, 2 Suspicious Person Reports, 7 Burned out Light reports, and 26 Unsecured Door Reports between 05/27/11 and 05/31/11.
