Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Tuesday, 5/31/11 and June 06/01/11. GUADALUPE PARKING GARAGE, 16161 Guadalupe Theft: A UT staff member discovered two out of four hubcaps had been stolen from his 2001 VW Jetta after being parked on the 5th level of the garage. Loss value: $60.00. Occurred on: 5-25-11, between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. SAN ANTONIO PARKING GARAGE, 2420 San Antonio Theft of Service: A non-UT subject approached a UT Police Officer and requested the officer allow him out of the parking garage since he did not have a time stamped ticket. The officer informed the subject he would need to talk to the on-duty attendant and pay prior to exiting the garage. The subject was then observed entering a vehicle and following a second vehicle out of the garage without paying. During the investigation, the subject was issued a court appearance citation for Theft of Service. Loss value: $27.00. Occurred on: 5-31-11, at 11:45 PM. 300 BLOCK EAST 21st STREET Assist Outside Agency: A UT staff member reported a suspicious vehicle that had been parked for several days without moving. During the investigation, the officers discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen to the Austin Police Department. Occurred on: 5-31-11, at 10:38 AM. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 15 Alarm Calls, 1 Callbox Alarm, 2 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Suspicious Person Report, 2 Burned out Light reports, and 2 Unsecured Door Reports between 05/31/11 and 06/01/11.
