Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Wednesday, 06/22/11 and Thursday, 06/23/11. * * * * * ADMINISTRATIVE MESSAGE * * * * * The City of Austin Police Department has asked The University of Texas Police Department to assist them in passing along the following attached information. APD is asking for your assistance, if you observe this subject notify the Austin Police Department by dialing 911. Both the Austin Police Department and The University of Texas Police Department would encourage you to call 911 to report all suspicious persons or suspicious activity. PARKING LOT 38, 2300 Block Red River Theft: A UT student returned to his vehicle and discovered the engine was louder than normal. Upon closer inspection, the student discovered an unknown subject had removed his catalytic converter and oxygen sensors. Loss value: $630.00. Occurred between: 6-22-11 and 6-23-11. CAMPUS WIDE: Non-Criminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, the University of Texas Police Department responded to 17 Alarm Calls, 1 Suspicious Activity report, 1 Suspicious Person report, 1 Burned out Light Report, and 3 Unsecured Door Reports between 06/22/11 and 06/23/11.
