Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Monday, 07/18/11 and Tuesday, 07/19/11. UNION BUILDING, #4 West Mall Assist Outside Agency: A very upset non-UT subject was discovered screaming in a corner located on the 3rd floor of the Union Building. The officers were unable to determine why she was upset. However during the investigation, the officers did learn the subject had four outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrants. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 7-19-11, at 12:19 AM. 2500 BLOCK SPEEDWAY Criminal Mischief: A UT Police Officer discovered the south bound control arm damaged. It appeared as if a vehicle had driven through the intersection prior to the control arm lifting. Estimated damage: $150.00. Discovered on: 7-19-11, at 2:10 AM. 2600 BLOCK WHIITIS AVE Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT suspect was reported to be yelling obscenities to passing students. During the investigation, the officers located the subject and learned she was simply upset and angry. The officers soon discovered the subject had two outstanding Outside Agency arrest warrants. The subject really became upset when she was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 7-18-11, at 4:51 PM. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 15 Alarm Calls, 1 Suspicious Person Call, 2 Suspicious Activity Reports, 2 Burned Out Light Reports, and 7 Unsecured Door Reports between 07/18/11 and 07/19/11.
