ADMINISTRATIVE MESSAGE The University of Texas Police Department is currently accepting applications for the next Citizen Police Academy. JESTER WEST RESIDENCE HALL, 201 East 21st Street Harassment: A UT staff member reported receiving several harassing and threatening telephone calls from another UT staff member. During the investigation, the officers learned the suspect contacted the staff members work to see if she was there. Once the suspect confirmed the staff member was at work, then began a barrage of harassing telephone calls began. The officers soon learned the harassing telephone calls have been an on-going event since 2008. Reported on: 9-12-11. ROBERT L. MOORE HALL, 2515 Speedway Theft: A black Hewlett Packard laptop computer was reported stolen after being left unsecured inside a 5th floor classroom. Loss value: $500.00. Occurred on: 8-31-11, between 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 25 Alarm Calls, 2 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Suspicious Person Call, 2 Welfare Concerns, 1 Burned Out Light, and 2 Unsecured Door Report between 09/12/11 and 09/13/11.
