Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Tuesday, 09/13/11 and Wednesday, 09/14/11. ADMINISTRATIVE MESSAGE The University of Texas Police Department is currently accepting applications for the next Citizen Police Academy. DKR TEXAS MEMORIAL STADIUM, 2200 Robert Dedman Theft: A UT staff member discovered eight 32-inch flat screen televisions were stolen from the stadium. During the investigation, the officer learned all of the televisions had been removed from several unsecured concession stands and one secured concession stand. Loss value: $4,000.00. Occurred between: 8-8-11 and 9-13-11. 2100 BLOCK SAN JACINTO BLVD. Public Intoxication: UT Police Officers responded to a report of a non-UT subject wobbling and weaving back and forth. Unlike a Weeble Wobble, the subject was observed falling down several times. During the investigation, the subject informed the officers that he had taken prescription medication that could not be mixed with alcohol. The subject stated he had consumed several beers and a Hurricane while at a local downtown establishment. The subject was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to Central Booking. Occurred on: 9-13-11, at 9:06 PM. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 18 Alarm Calls, 2 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Suspicious Person Call, 1 Burned Out Light, and 2 Unsecured Door Report between 09/13/11 and 09/14/11.
