Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by the University Police Department between Monday 10/17/11 and Tuesday, 10/18/11. ALMETRIS DUREN HALL, 2624 Whitis Ave Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT was seen sitting inside the bike racks located on the northeast side of the building. The subject was enjoying a cold frosty adult beverage. The subject informed the officers he was waiting for the church to open. The subject was issued a written Criminal Trespass warning and was escorted from the area. Occurred on: 10-18-11, at 12:03 AM. FRANK ERWIN CENTER, 1701 Red River Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was observed soliciting the sale of t-shirt outside the arena doors. During the investigation, the subject informed the officers he had brought Fire Relief t-shirts from New York City in order to make a profit. The subject was issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning and was escorted from campus. Occurred on: 10-17-11, at 11:49 PM. JESTER WEST DORMITORY, 201 East 21st Street Theft: A blue Roadmaster mountain bicycle was reported stolen from the west side of the building after being secured with a U-shaped lock. Loss value: $50.00. Occurred between: 10-14-11 and 10-16-11. JESTER WEST DORMITORY, 201 East 21st Street Graffiti: A quotation from the movie Meet the Fockers, written to encourage water conversation was a nice reminder of the serious drought conditions, was discovered on the inside wall of a 1st floor men’s restroom. The message was written in black indelible marker. Estimated repair: $50.00. Discovered on: 10-17-11, at 9:21 AM. MARY GEARING HALL, 200 West 24th Street Theft: A black leather wallet containing personal identification, two checks written out for $270.00, several credit cards and $22.00 in cash was stolen after being removed from an unattended backpack. During the investigation, the officer learned the victim had left her property unattended for approximately five minutes. Loss value: $342.00. Occurred on: 10-17-11, between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 16 Alarm Calls, 2 Fire Alarms, 2 Suspicious Person Call, 2 Suspicious Activity Reports, 2 EMS calls, 2 Burned Out Light Reports, and 4 Unsecured Door Report between 10/17/11 and 10/18/11.
