One student decided to inform the officers that she did not have an ID on her and provided the officers with a false name and date of birth. After several attempts in trying to locate a matching name and date of birth the officer allowed the student one more opportunity to provide her with a correct name and date of birth. Crime Prevention Tip: How many people do you known that would leave a $100.00 bill on a table and walk away? How many would leave a $5.00 bill on the same table and walk away? No one that I know of, they are all State employees. Since August of 2011 we have seen a number of backpacks, wallets, and cellular telephones that have been left in plain view and the owner simply walked away for a “few” minutes. This lapse creates opportunity for a criminal to be a successful criminal.
