ROYAL MEMORIAL STADIUM, 2200 ROBERT DEDMAN DRIVE Public Intoxication: UT Police Officers responded to 5 Public Intoxication calls, located in and around DKR Stadium, during the UT versus Kansas State Football game VICTORY. I have included some of the Public Intoxication off the field losses from this week. -A Non-UT male subject was found passed out in a pile of trash and said he “drank a lot!”…really, need I say more? -Keeping with the trash theme, a UT Student was arrested because he was unable to phone a sober friend as he stated they were all “trashed.” -An intoxicated UT Student did not attempt to phone a sober friend because he “did not want to rat his friends out.” After becoming uncooperative with the UT Police Officer the Non-rat subject was arrested and transported to Central Booking. 1600 SAN ANTONIO STREET Driving While Intoxicated: A Light colored pickup truck was seen traveling south in the 1600 block of San Antonio Street. The vehicle crossed over the center line and honked at the UT Police Officer as he passed. Once stopped, the subject provided his license and insurance, and then exited the vehicle as if he knew the routine. A strong odor of alcohol came from the subject and he stated that he “had been tailgating and drank 3 Miller lites.” After consenting to some field sobriety testing it was clear that his Miller time was up.
