Even though it was not his birthday, the subject was easily located and detained in his birthday suit by UT Police Officers. Yes this was the Special Events Center, but this is not the type of Special Event the Erwin Center is accustomed to have performed. The subject stated he worked at the Erwin Center earlier in the day then he and his friend went out for drinks at a club, before returning to his place of employment to bare it all. The first driver was in a Toyota Sedan and the second driver was in a Smart Car. The second driver stated the Smart Car failed to drive during a green to red light cycle and was seen swerving in and out of lanes at about 5 miles an hour. The second driver eventually passed the Smart Car and was then hit from behind by the Smart Car at a standing red light. The UT Police Officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver of the Smart Car. After consenting to field sobriety testing, it was determined that the subject was intoxicated to a point in which it was not safe to operate a motor vehicle.
