SAN ANTONIO GARAGE, 2420 San Antonio St Graffiti: While patrolling, a UTPD officer noticed black spray paint on the exterior of the garage. Estimated removal cost: $50.00. Officers checked on the subject who stated that he was fine and that he had simply spilled oatmeal on himself. Based on the odor, officers disagreed as to the nature of the substance and summoned medical assistance. Once emergency medical personnel evaluated the subject, he refused to go with them. Officers then discovered that the subject had an active criminal trespass warning from the Union Building. When asked about the warning, the subject stated that he knew about the warning but didn't believe that officers had the authority to issue it. Our officers disagreed and provided the subject with a ride to Central Booking to demonstrate. Occurred on 01/04/16 at 9:31AM.
