Report for 01/12/2016

Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Monday, 01/11/16 and Tuesday, 01/12/16. 2610 GUADALUPE ST Public Intoxication: A UTPD Officer noticed a subject on the sidewalk outside this location who seemed to be having trouble remaining upright. The officer stopped to check on the person and the subject described a fantastical quest to a distant liquor store. There the subject led an epic struggle against 700 bottles of wine and vanquished them single-handedly. Sadly, he was unable to continue his journey and alternately demanded to be taken to the hospital or jail. UTPD officers transported the subject to Central Booking for Public Intoxication. The nursing staff on site confirmed that he did not need medical attention, throwing some doubt on this account of his evening. Occurred on 01/12/16 at 1:25 AM.
