Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Wednesday, 01/20/16 and Thursday, 01/21/16. JESTER EAST, 201 East 21st Street Theft: A black Huffy was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to the bicycle racks located on the north side of the residence hall. Loss value: $100.00. Occurred between 12/16/15 and 01/16/16. 1900 San Antonio Duty Upon Striking an Unattended Vehicle: A UT police officer was flagged down by a witness to a collision. The reporting person told the officer that a Dodge work truck struck a parked and unattended Ford Mustang. The driver of the truck paused then drove away from the scene without leaving driver information on the vehicle. The officer located the struck vehicle and found a note from another witness that provided the license plate of the striking vehicle. The investigation continues. Repair estimate: $3,000.00. Occurred on 01/20/16 at approximately 3:45 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 23 Alarm Reports, 2 Fire Alarm Activations, 25 Traffic Violations, 2 Motor Vehicle Collisions, 4 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Accidental Damage Report, 3 Medical Emergency Assist Requests, and 3 Public Assist Requests between 01/20/16 and 01/21/16.
