Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Thursday, 02/18/16 and Friday, 02/19/16. ENGINEERING TEACHING CENTER, 204 East Dean Keeton Assault by Contact: Two UT staff members began to argue about a work project while both were inside a 7th floor men's restroom. The argument elevated to the exchange of “dirty words” before one of the staff member's pushed the other in the chest and exited the restroom. Occurred on 02/18/16 at 12 noon. WALTER WEBB HALL, 405 West 25th Street Graffiti: White spray paint was used to write the same letters, numbers and a symbol in four different locations on the east exterior wall of the building. Removal cost: $200.00. Discovered on 02/18/16 at 9:59 p.m. 300 East 21st Street Theft / Credit Card Abuse: A brown leather Tommy Hillfiger wallet containing a debit card, a credit card, a Texas identification card, and $80 in cash was stolen after it was left on a Capitol Metro bus near the San Jacinto Residence Hall bus stop. Prior to the debit and credit card being cancelled, an unauthorized charge in the amount of $9.34 was made at a near-by gas station. Loss value: $100.00. Occurred on 02/14/16 between 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Reported on 02/18/16 at 3:40 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 17 Alarm Reports, 15 Traffic Violations, 2 Motor Vehicle Collisions, 7 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Welfare Concern Report, 2 Accidental Damage Reports, and 2 Public Assist Requests between 02/18/16 and 02/19/16.
