Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Wednesday, 03/09/16 and Thursday, 03/10/16. BRAZOS PARKING GARAGE, 210 East Martin Luther King Possession of Marijuana: Two UT students were found hand rolling a cigar while seated in a secluded area just south of the parking garage. When asked if the contents of the cigar included marijuana, both students answered in the affirmative. The honesty of one of the students took a brief hiatus as he initially provided his uncle's name when identified. When that student learned the officer planned to run an identification check, a flood of veracity overcame him and he provided his correct name and date of birth. The cigar was found to have 2 grams of marijuana. Occurred on 03/09/16 at 8:47 a.m. BURDINE HALL, 2505 University Theft: A grey Trek 1500 bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to the bicycle racks located on the west side of the building. Loss value: $300.00. Occurred on 03/09/16 between 2:40 p.m. and 5:05 p.m. (In broad daylight). The University of Texas Police Department responded to 18 Alarm Reports, 9 Traffic Violations, 1 Motor Vehicle Collision, 3 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Welfare Concern Report, 3 Medical Emergency Assist Reports, and 3 Public Assist Requests between 03/09/16 and 03/10/16.
