Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Monday, 03/14/16 and Tuesday, 03/15/16. SAN ANTONIO PARKING GARAGE, 2420 San Antonio Graffiti: Blue spray paint was used to write letters on the east and south side of the parking garage. Removal cost: $100.00. Discovered on 03/14/16 at 11:37 a.m. 2000 Guadalupe Possession of Dangerous Drug / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Assist Outside Agency: A UT police officer observed a subject smoking out of a glass pipe. The subject was detained and dutifully read his rights. When asked what was in the pipe, the subject stated he was smoking the synthetic cannabinoid commonly called K2. In addition to the possession of the pipe and .03 ounces of K2, the subject was also found to have four outstanding, outside agency arrest warrants for burglary of a habitation and three warrants for evading. Occurred on 03/14/16 at 3:53 p.m. 1000 Nueces Public Intoxication / Possession of Dangerous Drug: A non-UT subject was observed stumbling as he attempted to walk along the sidewalk. The subject was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance to the point he was deemed to be a danger to himself. The subject was also found to be in possession of .18 ounces of a synthetic cannabinoid. Occurred on 03/14/16 at 7:48 p.m. 2000 Speedway Theft (2 counts) / Possession of Criminal Instrument: A UT student reported two non-UT subjects had liberated two bicycles that were secured to a bicycle rack beside the roadway. Because the student was able to provide a good description of the subjects and their last known direction of travel in a timely manner, officers were able to locate the subject a block away. One of the two subjects was found to be in possession of wire cutters. Recovery value: $250.00. Occurred on 03/14/16 at 2:39 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 15 Alarm Reports, 9 Traffic Violations, 5 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Welfare Concern Report, and 2 Public Assist Requests between 03/14/16 and 03/15/16.
