Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Friday, 04/15/16 and Monday, 04/18/16. BRIDGEWAY, 2616 Wichita Graffiti: Graffiti was placed on a callbox located on the east side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00. Discovered on 04/15/16 at 11:21 a.m. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH CENTER, 2501 Speedway Criminal Trespass / Public Intoxication / Failure to Identify: A non-UT subject was located inside the closed construction site. The subject was found to be intoxicated and failed to provide his correct date of birth when asked. Occurred on 04/17/16 at 12:58 a.m. FACILITY SERVICES BUILDING 7, 1300 Manor Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was found sleeping near a storage tank at the gas pumps. The subject was awakened and issued a written criminal trespass warning. Occurred on 04/15/16 at 8:54 a.m. GREGORY GYMNASIUM, 2101 Speedway Theft: A wallet with a driver's license, a debit card, and two credit cards was stolen from an unsecured locker located inside a 2nd floor men's locker room. Loss value: $20.00. Occurred on 04/15/16 between 9”15 am and 12 noon. MAIN BUILDING, 110 Inner Campus Drive Criminal Mischief: A glass window was broken out of a 1st floor exterior door. There was no evidence that entry was made into the office. Repair cost: $500.00. Discovered on 04/16/16 at 8:40 a.m. PARKING LOT 56, 2600 San Jacinto Criminal Trespass Warning: While investigating another call, a UT police officer located a non-UT subject sleeping on the sidewalk. The subject was awakened and issued a written criminal trespass warning. Occurred on 04/16/16 at 2:03 a.m. PARKING LOT 113, 2200 Comal Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left window was broken out of a yellow 1995 Volvo while the vehicle was parked and unattended. Stereo equipment and two shipping boxes containing batteries were stolen out of the vehicle. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $825.00. Occurred on 04/15/16 between 5:45 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, 510 East 23rd Street Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was taken into custody for public intoxication. Occurred on 04/15/16 at 9:52 p.m. 200 East Martin Luther King Driving While license Invalid / Possession of Marijuana: A non-UT subject was stopped for driving at night without headlamps. The subject was found to be driving with an invalid license. More than .05 ounces of marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Occurred on 04/17/16 at 2:17 a.m. 2000 Leona Minor in Possession of Alcohol: A non-UT subject, who was under the age of 21, was found in possession of an open can of beer. Occurred on 04/16/16 at 10:46 p.m. 2200 San Jacinto Graffiti: Graffiti was drawn on a boulder. Removal cost: $50.00. Discovered on 04/16/16 at 4:12 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 77 Alarm Reports, 1 “Police Help” Callbox Activation, 1 Fire Alarm Activation, 28 Suspicious Activity Reports, 28 Traffic Violations, 2 Motor Vehicle Collision Reports, 2 Medical Emergency Assists, 4 Welfare Concern Reports, 1 Stuck Elevator Report, 2 Malfunctioning Light Reports, 6 Found Property Reports, 12 Courtesy Escorts, and 18 Public Assist Requests between 04/15/16 and 04/18/16.
