Once the suspect gains the victim's confidence, he or she will then walk the subject through a process that allows the suspect to gain control of your electronic and mobile devices. JESTER EAST, 201 East 21st Street Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject entered the Jester East lobby on two occasions and asked Housing and Food staff members if he could use the office phone to place a phone call. Upon his second entry into the residence hall, Housing and Food staff questioned him about being in the residence hall. The subject became aggressive toward the staff members and was asked to leave the building. UT police officers were summoned to the scene where they located the subject just outside of the residence hall. The subject was found to have previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning and was taken into custody. Occurred on 06/07/16 at 3:00 p.m. JESTER WEST, 201 East 21st Street Public Intoxication: UT police officers were summoned to the lobby of the residence hall to check on a report of a female subject who was passed out on a couch. The officer woke the subject and was able to obtain the answers to a few questions before the subject passed out again. The subject, who was well under the age of 21, was staying at Jester West during New Student Orientation. When asked where she was currently located, the prospective student said three Greek letters – hmm, do you think she had been to Greece or is it more likely she consumed alcohol at a near-by multi-resident home? The prospective student was deemed to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point Austin-Travis County EMS needed to transport her to a local hospital for the treatment of alcohol poisoning.
