Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Monday, 06/13/16 and Tuesday, 06/14/16. BELO CENTER FOR NEW MEDIA, 300 West Dean Keeton Graffiti: Several different colored paint pens were used to write words and draw symbols at 21 different locations around the outdoor plaza located on the south side of the building. Removal cost: $1,000.00. Occurred between 06/10/16 at 12 noon and 06/13/16 at 9:00 a.m. KINSOLVING RESIDENCE HALL, 2605 Whitis Criminal Trespass Warning / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a bench near the entrance to the residence hall. The subject was awakened and found to have four outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for the consumption of alcohol where prohibited, human waste in a public place, and sitting or lying on a public sidewalk (2 warrants). In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was also issued a written criminal trespass warning. Occurred on 06/13/16 at 10:26 p.m. PETER T. FLAWN ACADEMIC CENTER, 2304 Whitis Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject, who was known to have previously received a written criminal trespass warning, was observed approaching students and pacing back and forth by the entrance to the building. The subject stated he comes to the campus to “look at the trees.” The self-proclaimed arborist now observes tress through the iron bars of the local lock-up. Occurred on 06/13/16 at 9:28 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 20 Alarm Reports, 1 Fire Alarm Activation, 5 Traffic Violations, 1 Medical Emergency Assist, 2 Suspicious Activity Reports, and 5 Public Assist Requests between 06/13/16 and 06/14/16.
