Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Wednesday, 06/15/16 and Thursday, 06/16/16. SAN JACINTO RESIDENCE HALL, 309 East 21st Street Theft: A UT Limited Edition backpack, containing four textbooks and an Apple MacBook laptop computer, was stolen from an unknown location sometime between 04/16/16 and 05/11/16. The owner of the property had no further information. Loss value: $1,900.00. Reported on 06/15/16 at 10:07 a.m. TRINITY PARKING GARAGE, 1815 Trinity Duty Upon Striking an Unattended Vehicle: A good Samaritan witnessed a grey Dodge Ram (no pun intended) strike a parked and unattended Kia Sportage. The driver of the Dodge truck left the scene without leaving driver information. The Samaritan left a note on the Sportage that contained the vehicle description and license plate. Repair cost: $50.00. Reported on 06/15/16 at 12:51 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 23 Alarm Reports, 1 “Police Help” Callbox Activation, 2 Traffic Violations, 1 Medical Emergency Assist, 4 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Light Malfunction Report, 1 Non-Criminal Fire, 1 Unsecured Door Report, and 2 Public Assist Requests between 06/15/16 and 06/16/16.
