Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Tuesday, 06/21/16 and Wednesday, 06/22/16. BURDINE HALL, 2505 University Criminal Mischief: The door to a computer junction box located inside a 2nd floor classroom was forcibly removed from the box. At the time of investigation, it did not appear any of the telecommunication cables had been disturbed or removed. Repair cost: $40.00. Occurred between 06/20/16 at 8:00 a.m. and 06/21/16 at 12:30 p.m. CONNALLY CENTER FOR JUSTICE, 726 East 25th Street Graffiti: White paint was used to write a word on two different sides of a sign post located on the northeast side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00. Reported on 06/21/16 at 8:44 a.m. STUDENT SERVICES BUILDING, 100 West Dean Keeton Theft: A dark grey Fuji bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a chain lock to the bicycle racks located on the west side of the building. Loss value: $155.00. Occurred on 06/21/16 between 11:50 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. UNION BUILDING, 2308 Whitis Assist Outside Agency / Possession of Marijuana: A non-UT subject was found smoking a cigarette while sitting on a ledge in an outdoor patio area that is reserved for use by UT faculty, staff, and students. The subject was found to have an outstanding, outside agency arrest warrant for the possession of marijuana. The subject advised the officer he was currently in possession of marijuana and produced a pill container from his pant pocket. Inside the container, the officer found .14 ounces of marijuana. Occurred on 06/21/16 at 6:15 p.m. 400 West 26th Street Driving While License Invalid (with Prior Conviction): A non-UT subject was stopped for driving a red Chevrolet Camaro with expired license plates. The subject was found to have been driving while his driver's license was invalid. The subject was also found to have a prior conviction for the same offense. The subject was quickly chauffeured to the local lock-up. Occurred on 06/22/16 at 2:20 a.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 19 Alarm Reports, 13 Traffic Violations, 1 Motor Vehicle Collision, 1 Courtesy Escort, 8 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Stuck Elevator Report, and 2 Public Assist Requests between 06/21/16 and 06/22/16.
