Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Monday, 07/11/16 and Tuesday, 07/12/16. JOE JAMAIL TEXAS SWIM CENTER, 1900 Red River Criminal Trespass Warning: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in a landscaping planter box with a map covering his face. When the officer woke the subject, he became agitated – obviously he woke up on the wrong side of the planter box. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning and escorted off of the campus. Occurred on 07/11/16 at 7:30 p.m. PICKLE RESEARCH CAMPUS, 10100 Burnet Theft: A chrome colored Mongoose MTB-100 bicycle was stolen after it was left unsecured on the north side of building 35. Loss value: $200.00. Occurred between 07/08/16 at 12 noon and 07/11/16 at 11:30 a.m. UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 1616 Guadalupe Graffiti: White spray paint was used to write an illegible word on the exterior wall located on the north side of the building. Removal cost: $100.00. Discovered on 07/12/16 at 5:26 a.m. 2200 Guadalupe Possession of Marijuana: A UT police officer observed a subject sitting on a curb and screaming at passing motorists and pedestrians. When the officer checked on the subject, the subject stated he would “try to scream more softly.” The officer inquired about a hand-rolled cigarette the subject was holding to which the subject stated it contained marijuana. The subject then produced a plastic baggie containing .01 ounces of marijuana. Occurred on 07/11/16 at 11:25 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 30 Alarm Reports , 4 “Police Help” Callbox Activations, 8 Traffic Violations, 1 Courtesy Escort, 6 Suspicious Activity Reports, and 4 Public Assists between 07/11/16 and 07/12/16.
