Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Wednesday, 07/27/16 and Thursday, 07/28/16. UNIVERSITY TEACHING CENTER, 105 E 21st Street Criminal Trespass: A UTPD officer recognized a non-UT person who had an active criminal trespass warning on the grounds of this building. The person did not think the previous warnings they received were serious. The officer demonstrated the seriousness of those written warnings by placing the person under arrest, transporting them to the county jail, and providing them with another written warning. Occurred on 07/27/16 at 10:17 p.m. 1900 BLOCK OF NUECES ST Outside Agency Warrant: A UTPD officer located a non-UT subject who appeared to be passed out at this location. After the officer woke him up and learned that he did not need medical assistance, he discovered that person had an active warrant from a neighboring jurisdiction. Our officer provided that person with a new place to sleep in the county jail. Occurred on 07/28/at 1:45 a.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 16 Alarm Reports, 6 Traffic Violations, 7 Suspicious Activity Reports, 3 Assist Other Law Enforcement Agency Requests, 1 Found Property Report, 1 Medical Assist Request, and 2 Public Assists between 07/25/16 and 07/27/16.
