Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University Police Department Patrol Officers between Monday, 10/03/16 and Tuesday, 10/04/16. *** National Night Out: UTPD will be participating in several National Night Out events tonight. On 10/04/16 at 10am we will be at Gregory Gym Plaza for a Safety Week event hosted by Student Government. On 10/04/16 at 6pm we will be at both the Gateway Community Room and The University Co-Op Food Court. Please join us for a great opportunity to get to know your local officers and learn about UTPD services that are available to you. *** E.P. SCHOCH BUILDING, 2275 Speedway Avenue Theft: A UT student reported that the lights were stolen from a bicycle that was secured at this location. Estimated loss value: $25. Occurred on 10/02/16 at 4:23 p.m. 2000 BLOCK GUADALUPE ST Possession of a Fictitious Driver's License: A UTPD officer noticed a vehicle traveling near this location with no headlights on. The officer spoke to the UT student driver and asked her for a valid driver's license. The woman then produced several different ID's from several different government agencies. This caused our officer some concern and he was eventually able to locate the license that actually belonged to the woman. Our officer seized the other forms of identification which had the general effect of making the woman appear to be 21 years old. Occurred on 10/03/16 at 11:09 p.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 27 Alarm Reports, 8 Traffic Violations, 5 Suspicious Activity Reports, 2 Motor Vehicle Collisions, 2 Police “Emergency Help” Callbox Activations, 3 Medical Emergencies, 1 Foot Patrol, and 2 Public Assists between 10/03/16 and 10/04/16.
