Come meet the officers who serve where you live and work. No talking points, no agendas, just a chance to meet the officers who serve your community, ask them questions, or talk to them about your concerns. All are welcome. *** MONCRIEF-NEUHAUS CENTER, 2015 San Jacinto Boulevard Graffiti: A UTPD officer noticed several unintelligible words in white spray paint at this location. Estimated cost of removal: $100. Discovered on 11/02/16 at 8:37 a.m. INTERSECTION OF DEAN KEETON ST AND UNIVERSITY AVE Public Intoxication: UTPD Dispatch received a call about a female subject running away from a male subject and yelling. Our officers immediately located the pair and stopped them to find out what was going on. After a short investigation, it became apparent that the UT students were friends and that the woman was intoxicated. Her friend was attempting to provide her with a safe walk home. In her inebriated state, the woman decided that it would be funny to run away from her friend and yell at him. Once UTPD officers were certain that the woman was not in any danger, they located a sober adult who agreed to assume care, custody, and control of the woman until she sobered up. Occurred on 11/03/16 at 12:09 a.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 32 Alarm Reports, 4 Traffic Violations, 16 Suspicious Activity Report, 4 Welfare Concerns, 1 Assist Other Law Enforcement Agency Request, 2 Motor Vehicle Collisions, 1 Medical Emergency, 4 Foot Patrols, and 2 Public Assists between 11/02/16 and 11/03/16.
