The bicycle had been secured with a U-lock, which was severely damaged. Estimated loss value: $451. Reported on 11/21/16 at 2:42 p.m. INTERSECTION OF DEAN KEETON ST AND SAN JACINTO BLVD Public Intoxication: UTPD Dispatch received a call from a UT student who reported that he was chased by a man at this location. Officers responded and found a non-UT subject who was talking to a woman nearby. The woman stated that the man made several strange threats about, “getting my girlfriend to beat you up.” Presumably, the man needed help accosting strangers because he was too intoxicated to accomplish that himself. Officers determined that he was a danger to others due to his level of intoxication. In addition to arrest, the man was also issued a written Criminal Trespass Warning for all UT property. Occurred on 11/21/16 at 3:19 p.m. BRAZOS GARAGE, 210 East Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard Possession of Marijuana 2oz or Less: A UTPD officer was investigating the garage on an unrelated call when she noticed a man sitting by himself in a car at the top of the garage. The officer approached the vehicle to see if it was related to her call. When non-UT occupant rolled down his window, a suspicious smelling cloud escaped the vehicle. When the man, whose eyes were extremely bloodshot, spoke to the officer he assured her he was aware his car smelled strongly of marijuana, but he was a law-abiding citizen and did not have any in his car. Despite his assurances, the officer searched the car and found marijuana inside the vehicle. The man was placed under arrest.
