Voting ends on December 9th, and we'll publish your rankings the following week. *** 2100 BLOCK OF RED RIVER ST Driving While Intoxicated: A UT staff member called UTPD to report what she believed was a drunk driver. While she was speaking to our dispatchers, the suspicious vehicle ran into a parked vehicle. As the staff member tried to relay this information, the driver suddenly backed up and struck the staff member's vehicle. No one was injured in the collisions. Our officers responded and found that the driver was indeed intoxicated and placed him under arrest. Occurred on 12/05/16 at 10:08 a.m. JESTER CENTER, 201 East 21st Street Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student contacted police to seek medical help for an intoxicated friend. UTPD officers responded and determined that the students were under the age of 21. No one was charged with an offense under the Medical Amnesty Act. Meanwhile in Jester West… Occurred on 12/06/16 at 12:27 a.m. JESTER WEST DORMITORY, 201 East 21st Street Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: While responding to one call of an intoxicated student, UTPD officers were flagged down about a different intoxicated student. Officers located that person and determined that she needed medical attention. EMS transported the student to a local hospital for the treatment of alcohol poisoning. Occurred on 12/06/16 at 1:46 a.m. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 21 Alarm Reports, 7 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 Welfare Concern, 3 Assist Other Law Enforcement Agency Requests, 1 Motor Vehicle Collision, 4 Medical Emergencies, and 2 Public Assists between 12/05/16 and 12/06/16 Today's Campus Watch was prepared by: Officer R.
