Sadly, I will be assuming new duties with our police department in January and my time to be one of the writers of this fine publication is at an end. Thank you, Ben Land *** BRACKENRIDGE APARTMENTS, 3300 Lake Austin Boulevard Theft: A UT student reported that her bicycle was stolen from the rack outside this location. The front tire was secured with a U-lock and both were left at the rack, intact. Estimated loss value: $250. Reported on 12/14/16 at 7:30 a.m. ***REMINDER: Parking and Transportation will be impounding bicycles left along the Speedway bicycle racks. Check these links for information on that and how to properly secure your bicycle. *** The University of Texas Police Department responded to 14 Alarm Reports, 8 Suspicious Activity Reports, 6 Traffic Violations, 2 Assist Other Law Enforcement Agency Requests, 2 Foot Patrol, 5 Medical Emergencies, and 1 Public Assist between 12/14/16 and 12/15/16.
