Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University of Texas At Austin Police Department Patrol Officers between Tuesday, 01/31/17 and Wednesday, 02/01/17. Edgar A. Smith Building 200 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Theft: A bicycle belonging to The University of Texas was removed without consent from a bike rack outside the Edgar A. Smith Building. Our Police Communication Officers were effortlessly able to track the bicycles movements and relay that information to responding officers. Officers quickly located and recovered the bicycle but were unable to apprehend an offender. However, an offender has been since positively identified and our detectives will pursue an arrest warrant. Occurred on 01/31/2017 at 11:34 pm. San Antonio Garage 2420 San Antonio Street Criminal Trespass Warning: UTPD officers located an individual sleeping under a stairwell at the San Antonio Garage. Officers issued the sleeping gentleman a criminal trespass warning from the garage and all UT locations. Occurred on 02/01/2017 at 03:46 am. The University of Texas at Austin Police Department responded to 15 Alarm Reports, 5 Traffic Violations, 6 Foot Patrols, 2 Assist Other Law Enforcement Agency Calls, 5 Suspicious Activity Reports, 4 Medical Emergency and 12 Public Assists between Tuesday, 01/31/17 and Wednesday, 02/01/17.
