Campus Watch: Below is a summary of campus activity reported to or observed by The University of Texas At Austin Police Department Patrol Officers between Monday 04/10/17 and Tuesday 04/11/17. Perry-Castañeda Library 101 E. 21st Street Criminal Trespass Warning: A UT staff member reported that someone was in the library watching “questionable” videos on one of the computers. The reporting person believed that the videos may have been pornographic. Officers arrived, found the person and determined that the videos were not illegal but were indeed “questionable.” Officers issued the man a criminal trespass warning and ejected him from the campus. Occurred on 04/10/17 at 10:00 am. Welch Hall 105 E. 24th Street Theft: A UT student reported that her bicycle was stolen sometime between mid-January and now from a bike rack near the building. The bicycle was locked when it was stolen. Reported on 04/10/17 at 02:43 pm. 3100 Block of Red River Driving While Intoxicated: A UTPD officer observed a vehicle driving erratically. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver. The officer recognized that the driver exhibited symptoms of alcohol intoxication. After performing shockingly badly on the usual test, the offender was taken into custody and transported to the gray bar hotel. Occurred on 04/10/17 at 10:00 pm. The University of Texas Police Department responded to 20 Alarm Reports, 6 Traffic Violations, 2 Foot Patrols, 4 Suspicious Activity Reports, 1 911 Hang-up, 1 Assist Other Law Enforcement Agency Call, and 13 Public Assists between Monday 04/10/17 and Tuesday 04/11/17.
