Parking Lot 107 2500 N-IH 35 Frontage Road Criminal Mischief (State Jail Felony): An EMS crew flagged down a patrolling UTPD unit and reported that they had been dispatched to a stabbing but had not yet been joined by any police officers. No stabbing had been reported to UTPD but officers checked the area out of an abundance of caution. While they were unable to find evidence of a stabbing, officers did locate a vehicle that had sustained heavy damage. As the officers approached the vehicle, the owner began pointing to a man who was leaving the area. The officers quickly detained the man while they conducted an investigation. The officers learned that both parties attended the football game together and were ejected after becoming rowdy in the stands. The suspect then traveled to the victim's car where he kicked and punched the car until all four doors were dented, the windshield was broken and the headlights were destroyed. The suspect also slashed all four tires. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Travis County Central Booking. The driver also tried to conceal a small plastic baggy in her waistband. The officer ordered all of the occupants out of the vehicle.
